It all started when...
I started playing golf at the age of 13 and became a golf professional at the age of 19. I followed the PGA academy and did a trainee-ship at a private club where most members took lessons weekly. I worked under an academy for the first seven years, both in the Netherlands and in Germany where I lived and worked for a couple of years as well.
My theory...
Everyone I meet has the urge to be in control of their own lives for as much as possible, yet most are still heavily dependent on their 'coaches' (both in golf and privately) instead of a broad and healthy dose of knowledge about 'cause & effect'. My mission is to bring about and give rise to the full potential I believe everyone possesses.
By handing my students the tools to analyze their own game, I want them to become their own coaches, their own teachers. So instead of providing them with fish, I want them to learn how to fish themselves so they can become more self-sufficient, less dependent on others and actually achieve the control they long for in their daily lives.
My vision therefor is all about the students themselves and about providing them with the tools and knowledge they need in order to become their own coaches. The programs I developed over the past 10 years give the student the possibility to seize that control by handing them everything they need, both in the short game, (putting on the green), chipping (toward the hole), bunker-play and pitching (approaching the green) and in the long game (driving, long iron play, fairway-wood play, hybrid-play) and the accompanying strategy and course-management.
